It is indeed good to be able to greet all of you through this site once again. I wish to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very Happy New Year 2010. Congratulations to all the PMR students of 2009. You have done very well indeed and made the school proud.
It is time once again to take stock of the past experiences and to step forward into the new year. It is my hope that you will all take a moment to reflect on what you would like to achieve in this ‘brand new’ year 2010. It is important to plan ahead for all your activities. In planning ahead this way, you plan to succeed. And as you contemplate your life in the new year, plan to excel in all that you do, study well for all your examinations so as to achieve your best potential.
In the area of sports, plan to spend time going for practices so that when competition day comes along, you will stand tall and make proud the name of our beloved school, SMK Assunta. Take part in the various activities held by your co-curricular clubs, societies and uniformed bodies. The Assunta Spirit is to excel in all that we do, be it big or small.
In this new year, set a target for yourselves and commit yourselves to achieve this target. Set your hearts and your will to achieve excellence. Reject mediocrity and rush towards victory, remembering to always have a positive attitude to all things or persons that cross your path.
